Cama Beach State Park opened on Camano Island in June 2008, the first new state park in more than a decade. Situated on the water against a forested backdrop, the 433-acre park includes rustic beachfront rental cabins and is home to the Center for Wooden Boats’ second campus.

Bottle Beach

Bottle Beach ShoreThe Foundation funded a project to restore vegetation at Bottle Beach, a 71-acre park that includes a mile of saltwater shoreline on Grays Harbor as well as upland woods, sloughs and marshes.

Bottle BeachGrays Harbor is the single most important shorebird feeding area on the Pacific Coast for spring migrating shorebirds. Upward of a million birds rest and feed in the harbor each spring, and more than 130 different species have been observed at the site.
